On the verge of the flat clayground
landscape with its wide views and the sheltering
'elzensingel'-landscape of the 'Wouden' lies Westergeest.
Westergeest, also known as Foestrum, is a small village
in the municipality of Kollumerland c.a. in Friesland,
the most northern province of the Netherlands. Around the
ancient church live about 600 inhabitants. Westergeest
keeps up with the times and can be visited on the
internet since June 1998. Just about everything you ever
